Chris Smith

A southern boy at heart, Chris found his first video camera during middle school in the suburbs of Kentucky. As a gear-head with a growing love for filmmaking, he soon found a way to pair his passions. And after studying film in college, he recognized he was born to create. Fast forward to now, Istoria Films is the product of his vision for a story-telling brand. He believes creating films that are inherently authentic to the subject, while immersing the audience into a cinematic experience that can be not only seen, but felt.

From the Golden State, Brock has the same hunger and passion for storytelling through film. With his creative mind and keen eye, he helps to make branding consistent for every brand’s project both conceptually and visually. Combined with his vast experience in the commercial realm, he makes an excellent addition to our team, and helps to bring every film to completion. Brian Roth
Director of Photography
Brian has spent over a decade in the video production world. After attending film school in New York, he moved back to Arizona to continue in the film field. Brian is in charge of lighting every scene, and brings priceless knowledge and insight onto the set. With an innate ability to turn any environment into an aesthetic image, he plays a crucial role in the look and feel for every project.
